More about Kizuna AI
Kizuna AI is a virtual character created by the Tokyo-based company Activ8. Her first video appeared on the channel A.I. Channel on 29 November 2016. Since then the character has presented herself as a self-declared artificial intelligence, with Q&A videos, gaming content and music. Her voice belongs to the voice actress Nozomi Kasuga. Kizuna AI is regarded as a pioneer of VTubers, the content creators who appear as an avatar.
The name is telling: AI stands for Artificial Intelligence and also for the Japanese word for love, while Kizuna means bond. After the live concert "hello, world 2022" in February 2022, the character went on an indefinite hiatus.
The range runs from Nendoroids to Noodle Stopper figures, matching the channels A.I. Channel and A.I. Games.
