More about Natsume Yuujinchou
Natsume Yuujinchou (German title: Pakt der Yokai) is a manga by Yuki Midorikawa. It has been published by Hakusensha since June 2003, first in LaLa DX and now in LaLa, and it is still running.
At its centre is Takashi Natsume, who can see yokai. From his grandmother Reiko he inherits the Book of Friends, which holds the names of the yokai she once bound to herself. Natsume gives them their names back; Nyanko-sensei, a yokai in the shape of a cat, accompanies him as bodyguard.
Brain's Base adapted the series as an anime from 2008 (seasons 1–4), and Shuka has produced it since season 5. Two feature films followed (2018, 2021). The manga has been published in German by Egmont since 2014. Here you will find figures of Natsume and Nyanko-sensei as well as the German volumes.
