Together with Higekiri, Hizamaru was owned by the Minamoto Clan. Minamoto no Yoshitsune was the owner of Hizamaru, while his older brother Yoritomo, whom he respected deeply, owned the sword Higekiri. The swords also consider themselves to be brothers, and the respect the younger Minamoto showed the older seems to be transferred to them, too. In the game Hizamaru has many utterances referring to his brother. Unfortunately Higekiri can never remember his name, which may be due to the fact that Hizamaru was renamed a few times and is known today as Usumidori, so his former name actually does no longer exist. A pity, but you cannot reproach his brother for that.
Hizamaru is depicted by Orange Rouge in the posture shown on his game card. He has an especially noticeable haircut and an interesting hair color, and he prefers a uniform-like clothing style similar to Higekiri's, but looks more gloomy and less friendly, yet still self-confident. Together they should look great in your display cabinet.
