Majo no Tabitabi (The Journey of Elaina) began as a light novel by Jougi Shiraishi, illustrated by Azure; the series has been published by SB Creative under the GA Bunko label since 2016. At its centre is Elaina, a young witch with ashen hair who travels the world and meets different people and different rules in every country.
The story is told in individual episodes rather than one continuous plot. In 2020 the studio C2C adapted the source as a twelve-episode anime (directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka), broadcast from October to December. A manga adaptation by Itsuki Nanao also exists.
The figures cover very different formats, from chibi to prize figures, and show Elaina in changing outfits, from witch's robe to school uniform.
