Super Sonico, the Nitroplus mascot: guitarist, singer and gravure idol with pink hair and headphones, available as a figure in many variants.
More about Sonico
Super Sonico was drawn by the illustrator Tsuji Santa for the game developer Nitroplus. Her first appearance was on 14 October 2006, as the mascot of the music festival Nitro Super Sonic. Since then the festival face has grown into a franchise of its own, with music, manga, games and figures.
Sonico is 18 years old, a student and a gravure idol on the side. Vocals and guitar are Sonico's job in the fictional band First Astronomical Velocity. The character is recognisable by long pink hair, red eyes and the headphones that almost always come with the look.
In 2014 came SoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation, an anime series by White Fox. Alongside the figures from the main series there are crossover appearances, for instance in Senran Kagura.
