More about Dandadan
Dandadan is a web manga by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been published by Shueisha in the Shōnen Jump+ app and on its website since April 2021. Tatsu previously worked as an assistant to Tatsuki Fujimoto and Yuji Kaku.
It opens with a bet: Momo Ayase believes in ghosts but not in aliens, while Ken Takakura, whom Momo nicknames "Okarun", believes in aliens but not in ghosts. Each visits a relevant location on their own, and both turn out to be right. Momo is abducted and discovers psychic powers, and Okarun is possessed by a spirit. From there, the two fight youkai and extraterrestrial beings alongside their allies.
Science Saru adapted the manga as an anime: the first season aired from October to December 2024, the second from July to September 2025. The series has figures in several lines, including Nendoroids, as well as trading cards.
