More about Amakuni
Amakuni is the figure label of the Japanese publisher Hobby Japan, a company since 1969 and known for the magazine Monthly Hobby Japan. The label launched in September 2012. Its name recalls Amakuni, the legendary swordsmith to whom tradition attributes the first single-edged, curved blades.
Amakuni mainly makes figures in 1/7 and 1/8 scale from series such as Persona 5, Kantai Collection and SIN: The Seven Deadly Sins. Added to these are the Monster Figure Collection, with monsters from a card game, and, as spin-offs, mecha models under names such as Amakuni Kizin and Amakuni Shinuchi.
