More about Hobby Japan
Hobby Japan is a publisher based in Tokyo, founded on 27 September 1969. Its roots lie in hobby retail: the company grew out of the shop Post Hobby, which imported model cars and games. The monthly magazine Hobby Japan appeared in the founding year; books, light novels and tabletop role-playing games followed later.
For figures, Hobby Japan works with the label Amakuni: Amakuni manufactures, Hobby Japan distributes. This includes the Monster Figure Collection, which turns monsters from a well-known card game into figures for the game's 25th anniversary.
