More about Bishoujo
Bishoujo is a product line by Kotobukiya that began in 2009 with its first statue. It translates characters from comics, games and films into a Japanese point of view, based on the illustrations of Shunya Yamashita, the line's main illustrator.
In its launch year, the first statue was released as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. Batgirl brought the DC Comics universe in 2010, followed by Mass Effect in 2013. Darkstalkers, The King of Fighters, Transformers and My Little Pony joined later, among others; Horror Bishoujo is devoted to characters from horror films.
Currently announced are Yuri Sakazaki, Kula Diamond and a re-issue of Sadako Yamamura, among others.
