Desktop Cute is a product line from Taito that shows anime characters in relaxed seated poses. The name says it all: the figures are made for the desk and the shelf, often in roomwear, costumes or swimwear rather than the character's standard outfit.
The line is released as prizes, originally as rewards for Japanese crane games. The figures are made of PVC and ABS, are not articulated and are usually around 13 cm tall; prices are mostly under €40.
The range runs from To Love Ru and Frieren to Re:ZERO; some figures return as re-issues.
