Sadako Yamamura - Horror Bishoujo by Kotobukiya: A Chilling Icon Reimagined
Celebrate 15 years of the beloved BISHOUJO series with this standout release: Sadako Yamamura, the unforgettable horror icon from Japanese cinema, now reimagined by Kotobukiya in their renowned Horror Bishoujo lineup. Designed by the acclaimed Shunya Yamashita, this figure perfectly balances eerie elegance and haunting beauty, appealing to both anime collectors and fans of Japanese horror.
This detailed statue captures Sadako’s signature look with her long, black hair, which can be displayed covering her face for that classic ghostly vibe—or swapped for a variant part, revealing a single, sorrowful eye peeking from beneath her hair. Choose your preferred level of horror, from subtle to spine-chilling, right on your shelf.
Sadako floats above a pile of VHS tapes, an iconic nod to her origins, suspended by her psychic powers. The clear elements of her white dress evoke the chilling wetness of her infamous well, while her hands and feet bear the haunting red of scraped nails—painted to near-manicure perfection. Customize your display with freely arranged videotape ribbons and extra tape rolls, allowing for a dynamic, personalized scene.
The sculpt’s intricate details—from the translucent fabric to the scattered tapes—make this a must-have centerpiece for anime and horror figure collectors alike. Plus, keep an eye out for a secret surprise hidden within the tapes—a unique touch that sets this figure apart.
Add Sadako Yamamura - Horror Bishoujo by Kotobukiya to your collection and bring home a piece of Japanese horror history, re-envisioned for the modern anime fan.
