Figma SP-075 Vitruviani Man - The Table Museum

The figma series „The Table Museum“ features famous pieces of art everyone might know. Even paintings and drawings are not spared! The title “Vitruvian Man” comes from a Roman architect and engineer named Vitruvius, who drafted the idealized proportions of the human body. Vitruvius found out that one can draw a circle with the human navel as its center that will touch the fingertips as well as the soles of the feet. According to this, the famous drawing of the man with arms and legs in various positions came into being 1490, recorded by Leonardo da Vinci in one of his diaries. Da Vinci was very interested in the human body and its proportions, and with this figma of the Vitruvian Man you can continue studying in his place. With four legs and arms this specimen will bring you all the more fun, because there are so many silly things to do with it, although you can reduce the number of limbs to a normal quantity. The color of the figure is similar to parchment, making it look quite natural. As soon as you have finished playing and want to put the man away, you can use the included background picture for the classical posture. Enjoy!
