Jareth, the Goblin King - Color Tops Action Figure

The movie “Labyrinth“, published 1986 with David Bowie in the role of the mysterious Goblin King Jareth, might not be among the greatest films of all times, but by now it has quite a big fan base. Jareth is the antagonist of the movie, because he abducts Toby, the little half-brother of the teenager Sarah. However, it has to be mentioned that the girl herself asked him to, although she most likely didn't believe the baby would actually disappear. Jareth grants her 13 hours to get Toby back by fighting her way through his labyrinth. The movie gets inspiration from several children's books and is pepped up by various songs sung by Bowie himself.

The Goblin King is often seen with a crystal ball, which symbolizes a dream, so this figure gets one, too. This extravagant outfit with the richly ornamented jacket he wears in the famous ballroom scene. A mask belongs to it as well. Manufacturer McFarlane launches Jareth in the Color Tops Actionfigure-series. The figures of this line are portrayed in a characteristic posture and come in a window box which is designed with a special color scheme and numbering system, making it easy for collectors to sort their treasures. This is especially useful for those who like to keep their figures in their original packing. However, David Bowie as Jareth will also look great in a display cabinet!
