Lal'C Mellk Mal - Max Factory

In 1988, the now famous studio Gainax released a six-part OVA calles Gunbuster (or Top o Nerae!) that marked the directing debut of none other than Hideaki Anno. The setting even sounds a little similar to his best-known work Neon Genesis Evangelion, with pilots in giant robots fighting against space monsters. To celebrate the studio's 20th anniversary, a sequel called Diebuster was released in 2004 that deals with new characters and reveals its connection to the first series throughout the story. Lal'C is an exceptional pilot holding the highest kill score and the first pilot Nono meets, who proceeds to idolize her maybe a bit too much. Although she can seem annoyed by that, Lal'C still becomes friends with Nono quickly. Max Factory has now announced her in a sitting position with a cool, sphere-shaped base. The origami crane has a special meaning in the series and completes the figure perfectly.
