Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG - The Infinite Forbidden - Booster - GER
“EXODIA, DESTROY!” The two words that made Yu-Gi-Oh! a global phenomenon!
The Infinite Forbidden was recently announced at the Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL MONSTERS The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY event at Tokyo Dome in Japan, bringing the game back to its roots with a new strategy that utilizes the unstoppable Exodia! By revealing all 5 pieces of Exodia from your hand or deck, or by having them on the field, you can summon a brand new “Exodia” Fusion Monster! It cannot be destroyed by card effects and can add your current Life Points to its ATK every turn!
This bonus never lets up, so if your opponent somehow survives Exodia's attack, they'll face an even stronger Exodia on the next turn! By mastering ancient powers, this new Fusion Exodia can negate 1 Spell or Trap card activation of your choice each turn for free AND it brings an Exodia-related Spell/Trap from your Deck each turn for YOU to use for free.
In ancient Egypt, the pharaoh and his priests fought spiritual monsters by summoning them from large stone tablets to defeat their enemies! Infinite Forbidden introduces a new theme that simulates this method of combat: First, you place your “tablet” monster on the field as a spell card. Then, you infuse it with your life force (or in this case, life points!) to summon the card as a monster to the field! Each of these summons is a Special Summon, so you can save your Normal Turn for something else!
If you don't like sacrificing your Life Points to power these monsters, there's a special new Spell card that gives you a little Millennium magic—just reveal it from your hand and you won't have to pay Life Points to summon the monsters from their stones! And since revealing them doesn't remove them, you can do this over and over again. This Spell is also crucial, as it's used to Summon the “Exodia” Fusion Monster!
Infinite Forbidden contains a total of 100 new cards for a variety of strategies, old and new, including a brand new theme presented for the first time worldwide! It also continues the fun of the 25th anniversary celebration by including 25 Quarter Century Secret Rares, including one special card.
The Infinite Forbidden Core Booster Set looks like this:
10 Secret Rares
14 Ultra Rares
26 Super Rares
50 Commons
(24 of these cards are also available as Quarter Century Secret Rares, and 1 special card is ONLY available as a Quarter Century Secret Rare!)
