Yuki Takeya - Di Molto Bene

The Japanese figure maker Di Molto Bene impresses us again with this great announcement of a wonderful statue of Yuki Takeya. You can see that this particular producer is also trying to bring us figures from series where the big companies might not produce statues. Gakkou Gurashi! (English title: School Live!) is based on a manga by Narimitsu Kaihou and Sadoru Chiba and you can kind of describe it as Slice of Life meets the Zombie Apocalypse. The female main characters survive that particular incident but are then trapped in their school and shut off from their surroundings. There they now have to live through their very special everyday life surrounded by a world in ruin. The energetic Yui Takeya keeps the other girls on the run all the time and is always very optimistic maybe a bit too much you could say. Her character really comes through in the statue with her turning around to see us and with a bright smile on her face. She was sculpted full of nice details and is wearing exactly the outfit known from the manga and the anime. Add the cute pink-haired girl to your collection.
