More about Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom) is a manga by Yusei Matsui. It ran from July 2012 to March 2016 in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump and was collected in 21 volumes. At its centre is an overpowered, octopus-like being who works as a homeroom teacher at a junior high school.
His students are regarded as misfits and are taught in a separate building: Class 3-E. Their task is to kill Koro-sensei in order to prevent the destruction of the Earth. From this premise grows a school story in which Nagisa Shiota, Karma Akabane and their classmates mature through the task and through their teacher.
The studio Lerche adapted the series as an anime from 2015, and the film 365 Days followed in 2016. Besides figures such as Nendoroids and Pop Up Parade, the range includes Koro-sensei cushions and textiles.
