Devilman Crybaby

The young boy Akira is a really sensitive one and has the urge to cry at every sad story. His long friend Miki already knows his behaviour and protects her friend when someone is mocking him because of that. Akiras family is abroad so he is living with Miki and her family. Together they go to school and are running in the same club. Akira always had feelings for Miki but it seems like she does not feel the same.

One day and old friend of Akira called Ryo is visiting both of them and takes Akira to an investigation. He saw a demon possesing his professor, who he was working with, and heard of an event called Sabbath. There demons are celebrating and Ryo wants to find out if it is true. They go to the event and witness a lot of obscene gatherings. While the shy Akira is overwhelmed, Ryo just wants to find the demons that are hiding.

The demons are there and Akira is one of the witnesses. Before he is able to escape he is captured by a demon called Amon. Akira and Amon become one person, a demon with the heart of a human, and so Ryo is giving them the name Devilman. Akira now has to destroy alle the demons wandering around and of course he has to save the ones he loves.
