More about IS (Infinite Stratos)
Infinite Stratos (IS for short) is a light novel series by Izuru Yumizuru. The first volume appeared in 2009 from Media Factory under its MF Bunko J label; Overlap later took over the series. It was illustrated first by Okiura, and from volume 8 by Choco.
The story centres on Orimura Ichika, the only boy who can pilot an IS suit, and on IS Academy, where he is surrounded almost entirely by female classmates. The studio 8bit adapted it as a television anime from January 2011.
The figures mostly show the series' heroines, such as Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott, Charlotte Dunois and Laura Bodewig. Notable are the 1/4 scale Bunny versions in the B-Style line, as well as Nendoroids.
