More about Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront)
Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) comes from Yasuhiro Nightow, the creator of Trigun and Gungrave. After a one-shot in Jump Square in 2008, the series ran in Jump SQ.19 from 2010 and ended in 2015 when the magazine ceased publication; Shueisha collected it in ten volumes.
The setting is Hellsalem's Lot, the former New York, where a portal to the "Beyond" has opened. The photographer Leonardo Watch receives the "All Seeing Eyes of the Gods" and joins the organisation Libra, which protects the city from monsters and terrorists.
The studio Bones adapted the story under director Rie Matsumoto: twelve episodes in 2015 and a second season in 2017. The figures on this page range from Nendoroids to charms.
