More about Little Witch Academia
Little Witch Academia was created at Studio Trigger under director Yoh Yoshinari. It began in March 2013 with a short film made under the Anime Mirai 2013 funding project. The sequel, The Enchanted Parade (2015), ran a Kickstarter campaign that reached its goal of 150,000 US dollars within five hours.
From January to June 2017 came the television series, 25 episodes long, which Netflix took on internationally. At its centre is Atsuko Kagari, known as Akko, at the Luna Nova Magical Academy, with Lotte Jansson and Sucy Manbavaran at her side; Diana Cavendish is among the other students.
The range includes figures of the main characters as well as German-language manga editions.
