Monster Girl Doctor (Japanese: Monster Musume no Oisha-san) began in 2016 as a light novel series by Yoshino Origuchi, illustrated by Z-Ton and published by Shueisha under its Dash X Bunko imprint. It centres on the town of Lindworm, where humans and monsters live side by side, and on the clinic of Dr. Glenn Litbeit.
His assistant is the lamia Saphentite Neikes, known as Sapphee. The patients include centaurs, mermaids and flesh golems; the story offers everyday medicine with plenty of comedy and a touch of romance. An anime adaptation by Arvo Animation followed in 2020, running for twelve episodes.
In the shop, the series appears as a Nendoroid by Good Smile Company and as a figure by Medicos Entertainment, both featuring Saphentite Neikes.
