More about NieR:Automata
NieR:Automata is an action RPG developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. It was released in February 2017, first in Japan for PlayStation 4, and follows Nier from 2010. It was directed by Yoko Taro, who also shaped its predecessors; Nier itself was a spin-off of his Drakengard series.
At its centre are the androids of YoRHa, above all 2B, 9S and A2, fighting machine life forms. The character designs are by Akihiko Yoshida, the music by Keiichi Okabe.
In 2023, NieR:Automata Ver1.1a began as an anime series by A-1 Pictures, running for 24 episodes. It is the occasion for many of the newer figures, including releases of 2B and A2 in the Ver1.1a look.
