The Case Study Of Vanitas (Japanese: Vanitas no Karte) is a manga by Jun Mochizuki, serialised in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker since December 2015. Mochizuki previously drew Pandora Hearts; Vanitas is her second major series.
The story is set in a steampunk Paris of the 19th century. The vampire Noé Archiviste meets the human Vanitas, who wants to cure the curse disease Malnomen with the grimoire known as the Book of Vanitas. In 2021, Studio Bones adapted the series as an anime. In Germany, the manga is published by Carlsen.
The range runs from manga volumes through Nendoroids and Prisma Wing figures to acrylic stands and Mini Shikishi.
