More about The Idolmaster
The Idolmaster began on 26 July 2005 as an arcade game from Namco, developed by Metro. The player takes the role of a novice producer and guides aspiring pop idols through lessons, auditions and performances. It grew into a Bandai Namco Entertainment franchise spanning games, anime, manga and live concerts.
Alongside the original series around 765 Production, there are sub-brands such as Cinderella Girls (a mobile game from November 2011), Million Live!, SideM, Shiny Colors and Gakuen Idolmaster. Each introduces its own idols, and many of them appear as figures, for example as Nendoroids or in Wave's Dream Tech line.
