Figures and collectibles from ZUN's bullet-hell series, which began as a doujin game and grew into a fan culture of its own.
More about Touhou Project
Touhou Project is a bullet-hell game series by the independent developer Jun'ya Ōta, better known as ZUN. Working as Team Shanghai Alice, he is its only member and handles programming, graphics, writing and music. It began in the 1990s: ZUN wanted to release his music and built his own doujin games for it.
The series grew into a fan culture after Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. ZUN explicitly tolerates fan works and has published guidelines for them, which explains why doujinshi, arrangements and games around Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame and the other characters are so numerous.
In the shop, the figures range from Nendoroids to prize figures, with announced re-issues to come.
