More about Urusei Yatsura
Urusei Yatsura is a manga by Rumiko Takahashi. It ran in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from August 1978 to January 1987 and comprises 366 chapters in 34 volumes. It centres on Ataru Moroboshi and the alien Lum, who believes she is his wife after he proposes by accident. The title is a pun: "urusai" (noisy, annoying), written with the character for "planet".
Kitty Films adapted the series as an anime from 1981, with 194 episodes, followed by OVAs and films. A new adaptation by David Production aired from October 2022 to June 2024 on the Noitamina block and was made for Shogakukan's 100th anniversary.
The figures here range from Q Posket to the Glitter & Glamours line with Lum and her friends, and on to the Nendoroid.
