Shingeki no Kyojin (literally "The Advancing Giant", known internationally as Attack on Titan) is a manga by Hajime Isayama. It tells of a humanity living in walled cities and threatened by Titans. Isayama had drawn a 65-page one-shot in 2006; the series began in September 2009 in the first issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine.

After about eleven years the series ended in April 2021 with chapter 139, collected in 34 volumes. The anime adaptation began airing in April 2013: Wit Studio produced seasons 1 to 3, and the fourth and final season was made at MAPPA.
