More about Madoka Kaname
Madoka Kaname is the main character of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, the 2011 anime series from Studio Shaft. A kind, down-to-earth girl, Madoka faces the choice of becoming a magical girl after seeing her senior Mami Tomoe fight witches.
The character design is by Ume Aoki, the script by Gen Urobuchi. He deliberately wanted a heroine with a cheerful, idealistic nature, quite unlike his usual stories. Pink is her colour; the twin tails make the figure instantly recognisable.
Beyond the series, Madoka appears in the film Rebellion and in the spin-off Magia Record. The page carries figures and model kits of the character, along with announced new releases.
