Did you know that one of the most popular figure franchises was created because of a Burger brand? In fact, the Funko Company, founded in 1998, originally produced vinyl figures of the Big Boy, the popular mascot of the Big Boy restaurant chain. Due to the success of the popular figure, the range was extended in the beginning by single figures of popular heroes in the Big Boy style and now includes over 1000 licensed figures from all areas of pop culture like cinema & TV, as well as gaming, comics and anime. We are looking forward to welcome the sweet vinyl figures at Figuya.
We start with one of the most famous anime series in the world: Dragon Ball, and the beginning is of course the main character of the series Son Goku! Already in 1984 Akira Toriyama´s story based on the "Journey to the west" began its success story with a much stronger focus on comedid elements instead of the action-rich battles. However, like his fans Son Goku grew up and had to face bigger challenges, since 2015 once again in Dragon Ball Super where we celebrate a reunion with old friends and enemies, but also get insight into new universes and their secrets.
We are looking forward to the join the Funko Pop universe with Son Goku! In the typical cute Funko style. Goku rides on his cloud Jindujun holding his magical rod. Are you already a collector of the Funko Pop figures? We are looking forward to show you more of the Funko universe in the future.
