Dragon Ball Super appears as a sequel to Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga series, but it is drawn by Toyotaro, who changes the story according to his wishes but lets Toriyama give his blessings before publishing. The two seem to get along well concerning this matter. At the same time the corresponding anime is produced.
The story includes a lot of time travel and alternate universes, and as usual with time travel, there is the one or other paradox. But at this point let's concentrate on the most important part, namely this figure we offer. It obviously portrays Son Goku, but he looks... different. Has Son Goku eventually turned evil? Has his kind personality been switched to the opposite? No! The Supreme Kai Zamasu, who is actually a Shinjin, has swapped his body with Son Goku's, because he heard about his power. In Son Goku's body Zamasu masters the Kame-Hame-Ha. As Goku Black, often called just Black, he can even change into a Super Saiyajin with pink hair instead of blond, which is yet unique in the Dragon Ball universe.
Son Goku's body and powers are in the hands of someone whose goal is the destruction of mankind and creating the perfect world without humans! Add this slightly scary version of our hero – or of his body – to your collection if you dare.
