Hyakkimaru – Capturing the Spirit of Dororo
Step into the dark, captivating world of "Dororo" with this breathtaking Hyakkimaru scale figure, sculpted by the talented Sayoko Kamitsure and produced by Good Smile Company. Standing at approximately 27 cm, this figure perfectly preserves the anime's distinctive style, capturing Hyakkimaru in a dynamic pose just after battle.
The sculptor's mastery shines in every detail, especially in the intricate rendering of Hyakkimaru's prosthetic limbs. Each joint and mechanical element is carefully crafted to look as if it could move, highlighting the contrast between his human and artificial legs—an iconic aspect of his character. The figure's base, designed as a rugged rock, further emphasizes this visual storytelling and adds a sense of realism and depth.
From every angle, Hyakkimaru’s intensity and conviction are palpable. Viewed from the front, his fierce determination is unmistakable; from behind, a subtle loneliness comes through, echoing his journey throughout the series. The subdued color palette and authentic textures evoke the anime’s unique atmosphere, making this figure a must-have for fans and collectors alike.
Packaged in a display-friendly window box, this Hyakkimaru figure is not just a collectible—it’s a true work of art that pays tribute to one of anime’s most memorable protagonists. Add it to your collection and let the world of "Dororo" come alive on your shelf.
