Inspector Zenigata - Creator x Creator Version A

Inspector Zenigata was created so Lupin III could have a worthy adversary. Therefore the inspector is no goofy policeman, but a really capable and versatile opponent. He has already arrested whole gangs, but he always has a tough time with Lupin. For this reason he dedicated his life to the task of catching the master thief. His ability to throw handcuffs accurately comes in handy. Much to his chagrin, Lupin can quickly free himself – at least at the beginning. The more the series progresses, the better Zenigata's abilities become, so it gets harder and harder for Lupin. But honestly: Everything else would be boring!

By the way, Zenigata makes a guest appearance in the *Detective Conan* manga vol. 64 and also appears in the TV special *Lupin III vs. Detective Conan*. It is revealed that he and Inspector Megure where at the same Police Academy.

While he is an earnest and professional policeman, Zenigata behaves rather sloppy at the office or at home. Therefore it should be not surprising why he is depicted in such an unusual pose on a swivel chair. He shows his characteristic, grumpy face. If you also tend to have a messy desk, there might be just the right place for him on some stacker!
