This bust of Daisuke Jigen hails from the figure series “Opening Vignette” by Banpresto, which was launched on the occasion of the new “blue season” of Lupin 3rd. As a bust of Japanese origin the figure ends at the hip, where a ribbon with the character's name on it forms the base. Different from classical busts it has a torso and arms, so Jigen can hold his revolver in one hand.
Jigen is the marksman of the series and works as a loyal partner with Lupin. He distrusts women, especially Fujiko, since his experience with females is always negative: They usually betray him or die. Lupin once made the joke that he should marry his favorite weapon, a Smith & Wesson revolver, without which he feels downright naked. Not only can Jigen aim accurately with this revolver, he can also reassemble the gun from pieces in a minimum of time and dispatch an enemy while the latter still tries to aim. Other than his revolver, his hat is his trademark. He only takes it off in situations where it is really inappropriate to wear a hat. Next to the bust of Lupin, which is available separately in the shop, this Jigen will certainly look cool!
