With this statue by Banpresto we add a new series to our assortment! Kingdom is a manga series by Yasuhisa Hara, which was already adapted into anime. The series was shown on Japanese TV from 2012-2014, currently consisting of two seasons.
The action takes place in the Warring States period (475-221 BC) of ancient China. Kyou Kai grows up in Clan Shiyuu, an infamous clan of female assassins. It is tradition to select the successor of the title “Shiyuu” by a ritual fight to the death between all candidates. Her sister is unfairly defeated during the ritual, and Kyou Kai leaves to avenge her death. Later she gains a reputation in the military of Quin, which is at war with Wei at the time. She shows tactical skills and outstanding fighting abilities, so she soon has 3000 men under her command.
Banpresto publishes Kyou Kai in the Creator x Creator series. They made a great job portraying her in an energetic posture to which prompts our imagination to ad some enemies falling behind her while she lands on the ground gracefully. To intensify the impression of a fight under the open sky, the base consists of several pieces of rock. Her garments fly in the movement and she looks ahead, searching for the next opponent. Don't get in this woman's way, but don't hesitate to add her to your collection either!
