The DFX Manhood series by Banpresto presents an new figure set on the occasion of the new One Piece movie, which nicely illustrates the final conflict. Even without watching the movie you will know there will be an epic fight at the end, with Luffy taking on the antagonist Gildo Tesoro! Does the rubber man stand a chance against someone who can manipulate gold?
This set consists of two figures: Luffy and Gildo. Luffy wears the black outfit we already know from other movie-related figures, and of course he carries his trademark straw hat. Gildo contrasts him with his flamboyant, dark pink suit. The men assault each other with grimly determined faces. The figures seem to be frozen it mid-attack, it is easy to imagine how their fists will clash, triggering an explosion of wild battle energy! Both stand on a base designed as one half of a gold bar. Displayed together they combine perfectly to form a whole gold bar. Luffy and Gildo might literally become a gold piece in any collection!
