One Punch to slay them all. That could be called the motto of the series One Punch Man. The main character of the series that is immensely popular in Japan right now may be one of the plainest anime main character since a long time but he also is one of the strongest. He is living in a giant metropolis with a rather unexciting name called "Z". Monsters and all kinds of other bad guys attack the city quite regularly so that there are heroes who defend it. Saitama has trained so hard for years now that he can defeat every opponent in a single strike no matter how strong they are. Unfortunately for him, that gets kind of boring over time and he dreams of someone whom he can fight evenly. He comes with a face for battle scenes and another face showing his normal unconcerned facial expression. Even with all his fighting power, Saitama is living a rather normal life because his appearance just doesn't seem to fit anyone's assumptions about a great hero. Therefore, he also comes with a bag from the local supermarket after he has bought groceries in the latest sale.
