To our group of Touken Ranbu nendoroids is now added: Sayo Samonji! His standard posture is the one seen on his game card, but he can also be displayed in different fighting poses, with or without the hat. By the way, the hat is of the kind wandering women used to wear in his time, as he has a woman with a tragic fate in his story. In the game Sayo is the tantou with the most disturbed character, because he was used as the weapon for an act of revenge, and he also knew poverty. This might be the reason why he is always shown with bandages, plasters and slightly damaged clothes, and he looks a bit underfed. The first owner is, in most cases, the one who has a permanent impact on a sword, which was not a good one for Sayo.

In the anime he is always together with his brothers, Kousetsu and Souma, about whom he cares deeply.
