The historical Shigure was the second ship of ten destroyers of the Shiratsuyu class. Those ships belonged to the most powerful destroyers of their time, but none of them survived WWII. Shigure was considered unsinkable because she was very lucky in fights, but she was still sunk at the end.

Sega portrays the fleet girl Shigure in her Kai Ni version. This is obvious because of the hair flaps and the long straight tie which replaced the former neck scarf. In addition she now wears a hair ornament and of course her cannons were improved. In this guise she looks more grown up than before. She's ready to join your fleet!
