Vincent Valentine, hero of my Final Fantasy VII time! Wait... he was just an optional side character. But his Chaos-form was awesome! Then the long hair and that cool cape...
Of course it was somewhat unspectacular from a present-day perspective, while Vincent has a much better resolution as the protagonist of the game Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and he also looks great in the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. His cape was especially difficult to animate in the movie because it was supposed to move almost like a living thing.
The cape of this figure also draws attention to itself. It is designed with lots of folds and gives a bit of color to the dark overall impression. Lots of small details can be seen on the rest of the clothes as well, like buckles, rivets, scratches or rips. The hair is flying with the cape, directing the eye to Vincent's left hand which is extended menacingly like a predator's claws, while the right hand is holding his gun. He is perching on a broken piece of stone that looks like the rest of a pillar. Fans know this kind of posture, which is not surprising since the artwork comes from Tetsuya Nomura, who is also responsible for many other characters from the games made by Square Enix. Square Enix is also the publisher of this gorgeous figure. I will grab one myself for my Final Fantasy VII fan shrine!
