Preorder from Japan
Japan's preorder cycle
This is how figures work in Japan: announced, preordered, then built. The preorder cycle decides which figure gets made at all – and secures yours before it ships.
Japan's preorder cycle
Scale figures, Nendoroids and figma aren't built on spec. The maker announces them, gathers preorders, then produces the quantity that's needed. Without preorders, most figures wouldn't exist.
Preorder and secure
You reserve your figure early – often months before release. That locks in your copy even when the run stays small. Restocks are rare.
Don't miss the run
Once the preorder window closes, usually only the preordered quantity is built. Latecomers pay up on the secondary market. That's why the cycle pays off: early in, fair price.
