The young witch Kiki and her cat Jiji: Eiko Kadono's novel series and Hayao Miyazaki's Ghibli film, plus books and everyday items.
More about Kikis kleiner Lieferservice
Kikis kleiner Lieferservice (Japanese: Majo no Takkyūbin) began as a children's book: Eiko Kadono published the novel in 1985 with Fukuinkan Shoten, illustrated by Akiko Hayashi. It follows the young witch Kiki, who starts a delivery service in the coastal town of Koriko.
In 1989 Hayao Miyazaki adapted the story at Studio Ghibli. The film departs from the book in many places: the novel is more episodic and quieter, a series of small stories about the people Kiki meets on her deliveries.
The shop carries novel volumes and collector's editions alongside everyday items such as chopsticks and pencils.
