Honestly – the blonde hero may be a great guy, but who of us wouldn‘t admire the dark, mysterious adversary with the wicked smile once in a while?
Marvel‘s Loki is most likely one of the most gifted characters in that universe. He has superhuman strength, is immune to terrestrial diseases and is able to reattach even his own head. He has lots of magical abilities such as transfiguration, illusion magic, astral projection, telepathy, hypnosis... among others. He can open portals between dimensions, enabling him to travel between worlds, mostly between Asgard and Earth.
Loki has become very popular lately because of the Avengers movies. Loki is thought to be Odin‘s son and Thor‘s brother, but the two do not look very similar and their character traits are also different. Loki always feels like he‘s standing in Thor‘s shadow, which is difficult to bear for his ego. Then he coincidentally learns that he is an ice giant, adopted by Odin who hoped to unite the two realms, Asgard and Jotunheim, trough his good deed. Instead, Loki is hurt and argues with Odin. All he does after that might be based on his desperate wish to be accepted by his stepfather. When this goes wrong and Loki sees how disappointed Odin is by his actions, he lets himself fall into an abyss. At the end of the first movie we see that he has survived (as expected from the villain) and is now living on Earth, plotting mischief again. There just has to be a sequel!
Artist Shunya Yamashita seems to love drawing beautiful female Marvel characters. The statues of the Bishoujo series by Kotobukiya are based on his design. After Thor he has now portrayed Loki as a woman, and the outcome is a sight to see! The sexy green outfit looks like dragon skin, and she wears a fancy fur cape with it, posing in a provocative way. The typical helmet with horns is now open at the back, allowing her long locks to flow freely. Cosplayers among us will wonder how to attach something like that to the head – maybe with magic. But who cares as long as Lady Loki teleports herself into our display cabinets! The base is designed to fit Lady Thor‘s, who is available separately in the shop as well. Hurry and grab the brothers, err, sisters!
